We can run a variety of group sessions, birthday parties and courses at alien rock as detailed below.
We do not run parties or instructional groups at alien bloc.

Are you looking for something a bit different for your child's birthday party?
Why not book a birthday party with us at alien rock . The kids will have a great time with our well trained instructors learning to climb and look after each other in a fun environment. You can easeily watch them from our raised viewing area.
Each birthday session lasts for an hour and a half, with 15 minutes of this time being for kitting out with climbing equipment.
Cost per party of six children £90
The maximum number of children per instructor is six.

All children must be 8 years or over.
After the climbing part of the birthday party is over, please feel free to use
the seating area upstairs for cake eating and present opening.
Please
remember though that the wall shuts at 7pm on weekends.

Here at alien rock we are always happy to have groups of young people along to climb the walls, whether they come along with their own instructor or need to use ours.
If you decide to use our instructors we can tailor each session according to the abilities
and ages of of those in your group.
Each session lasts 1.5 hours and the price is for each group of six.

They must be fully qualified to SPA or CWA standard at a minimum.
They should have evidence of public liability insurance.
They must hold a valid first aid certificate.
They must be a member of alien rock.
We will require copies of all the above on first visit.
Off Peak times each group will be charged £8.00 per person.
Peak times each group will be charged £10.00 per person.
Equipment Hire is extra at £2.50 per person

If your group just wants some fun and lots of laughs, but does not fancy a full beginners course, then why not try a fun session instead!
Try speed climbing, blindfolded climbing, etc, all in a spirit of good natured competition with your friends. An ideal activity for staff bonding, birthday parties and hen or stag parties (pre-drinking stage please!) .The session aims to give maximum entertainment from climbing without participants needing to "learn the ropes".
Have a coffee halfway through this one and a half hour session - you'll need it!
Cost for each session is £180 for first 8 participants, £90 for each additional 4 participants. Max group size 24.

Adult groups are always welcome at alien rock. The 2.5 hour beginners course follows the same format as the individuals beginners course. By the end of the course each climber should be able to make return visits to alien rock with confidence as a member. This is ideal for team building while learning new skills.
The discounted cost for each session is £170 for every six participants.
